Agile Scrum & Project Sandbox

Welcome to my Agile Scrum simulator! Designed to bridge the gap between theoretical project management and technical execution. Select a role below to explore how Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers collaborate during a sprint.

Cloud Workspace (AWS DynamoDB)

Give your project a unique name to save your board data to AWS DynamoDB, or choose an exemplary project template below to get started instantly. You can reload your project by typing its name.
Note: Inactive projects automatically expire after 7 days.

❖ Quick Start with Exemplary Projects:

Select Your Agile Role:

Loading Scrum Workspace...

Q: How do deadlines & timeline tracking work?

Each sprint is evaluated against a target deadline. The system calculates completed story points versus elapsed time to determine if your project is On Track, At Risk, or Delayed.

Q: What does the Product Owner role do and how AI is related to it?

The PO authors user stories following the INVEST format ("As a... I want... So that...") and receives story audits instantly from the Amazon Nova Micro AI model.

Q: What does the Scrum Master role do and how AI is related to it?

The Scrum Master facilitates workflow management, monitors sprint health, and leverages Amazon Nova Micro AI to analyze sprint risks and provide actionable data-driven guidance.

Q: How do Developers use the Kanban board?

Developers manage tasks across columns (To Do → In Progress → Done). You can advance tasks forward or move them back if impediments occur.

Q: What are Story Points?

Story points measure task complexity, effort, and risk rather than exact hours, helping teams plan velocity sustainably.

Q: How is Schedule Health calculated?

The system compares elapsed sprint time against completed story points. If work completion falls significantly behind the schedule timeline, it dynamically flags the sprint as At Risk or Delayed.

Q: What are the Exemplary Project templates?

Pre-built, real-world project scenarios (like an E-Commerce Checkout or Cloud Serverless Migration) that let you instantly load realistic backlogs and target deadlines to test how the sandbox functions without starting from scratch.

Q: How does Cloud Persistence work?

Entering a project name and clicking Save to Cloud stores your backlog and sprint settings securely in AWS DynamoDB, while clicking Load from Cloud retrieves your saved workspace instantly.

Q: How long are projects saved in AWS DynamoDB?

Saved projects persist in the cloud via AWS API Gateway and Lambda, but feature a rolling 7-day TTL (Time-To-Live) expiration policy to keep the sandbox database clean and optimized for portfolio visitors.

Q: Can the Exemplary Project templates be modified or overwritten?

You can freely add, remove, or edit tasks within any loaded template, however the system protects built-in projects by requiring you to save your modified workspace under a new, unique name.
